The purpose of this paper is to consider the view of technology in Heidegger. The technology is in the domain of the truth. Heidegger identifies the technology with the manifestation of the truth. The modern technology is also the manifestation of the truth. Man makes the nature the object by the modern technology. Man discloses a secret of the nature in order to take out the wealth in front of him. In other words the manifestation of the modern technology appears in the object of nature. The autonomy of the modern technology exist in this kind of the process of the manifestation. Heidegger calls all the setup of the modern technology the assembly (Gestell). We have free-dom to steer the technology. The freedom isn't the simple option. There isn't the doom, but the destiny in the technology. Man doesn't escape from this reign of assembly. Heidegger's philosophy prompts to reflect the wishful thinking of the humanism.

The purpose of this paper is to consider the feature of methodology of the search for truth in Kant's graduation thesis. I hope to make clear the significance of the declaration of independence as the scholar in his thesis. Kant looked at the moderate proposition against the dispute among the scholars, tried to find the truth in the moderate course. Kant based the search for truth upon the freedom of human understanding in his starting point of study. As a result, the academic freedom was secured. It was not obey the authority and tradition blindly. Kant synthesized two different assertions and tried to find the moderate course. The critical method is an extension of this moderate method. It follows from this that the beginning of Kant's critical mind existed in this declaration of independence.

The purpose of this paper is to consider the meaning of technology in the third chapter of Gulliver's Travels. In Swift's days the Scientific Revolution was completed. The scientific contents in Gulliver's Travels were almost derived from the Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society. It seemed that Swift severely satirized the scientific studies in those days. But he satirized not the scientific studies themselves, but the biased man that forgets himself in them. Practically, while the technological advances can promote the welfare of mankind, they can blight it. In recent years the ethical education for the engineers starts in Japan. The Gulliver's Travels has the great meaning, in that it had already warned about the future of the technology in the 18th century.
