村上天皇は、文学活動を盛んに行なった平安時代前期の天皇であり、現存する「村上天皇御集」には、後宮の女御や更衣たちと詠み交わした歌が収録される。村上天皇の妻室は、十人以上知られるが、この歌集の半数以上を占めるのは、斎宮女御徽子女王との贈答歌である。徽子女王には別に、複数の本で伝わる「斎宮女御集」があり、「村上天皇御集」の歌とも重複している。特別に寵愛されたとは言えない徽子女王の歌が大量に収録された要因は、外在的事情のみならず、編纂者の意図に拠る。天皇と徽子女王との、調和的とは言えない贈答歌は、逆にうちとけた関係を示すものであると考える。編纂者は、村上天皇の私的な記録を残すにあたり、徽子との贈答歌がふさわしいと考え収録を容認した。同集第6番目の歌について、先行する論考は何れも、天皇が徽子の入内を心待ちにする歌だと見なしてきたが、これは女御述子の歌群に分類すべき歌である。編纂者は、人間村上天皇の生涯を記録するにあたり、天皇にとって重要な女性を、同集の冒頭部分に順に配置した。述子の歌群は、天皇の真情を反映させようとする編纂者の意図の表われであったと推測する。Murakami Emperor is the emperor of Heian era. He did a lot of literary activities. Murakami Emperor Gyosyu(村上天皇御集)is an anthology of his poemstanka. The worksof literature written by him and his wives are included in this book. Emperor and his wives exchanged tankas using letters. He has 10or more people wives. Saigu Nyogo Yoshiko Joou(斎宮女御徽子女王)is one of the wives. Half of the book are works of Emperor and 徽子. Their gift-giving tanka shave a dissonance, and are inharmonious. But their many tankas were recorded in this book. This is because their relationship was close and they were able to show openly their sentiment. An anonymous author was intended to record the Emperor's private life. The No.6tankain this book expresses his private sentiment. An earlier literature construed it as his hope. ItconstruedNo.6tankaas the expression of the feeling he was looking forward to marry 徽子. I think it is different. It expresses the affection for another wife Nyogo Nobuko(女御述子). At the beginning of this book, the tankas of 述子are placed. And also by this arrangement, an author could be recorded Emperor's personal sentiment.
