<論文要旨> 2015 年、世界最大規模の年金積立金管理運用独立行政法人(GPIF)が、国連責任投資原則(PRI)に署名したことにより、日本において、にわかにESG 投資が脚光をあびることになった。ESG 投資の具体的な手法として、最も一般的なのは、ESG レーティングである。ESG 情報ベンダーの情報に、独自のリサーチを追加して、自社のレーティングを付与する方法である。ただし、こうしたESG レーティングは、ESG、ファンダメンタルをそれぞれ分離して評価しているため、本当の意味でのESG インテグレーションになっていない。アセットマネージャーが、次のゴールとして設定するのが、本来の意味でのESG とファンダメンタルの統合である。多くのアセットマネージャーは、企業の評価に、3~5 年の収益予想を行っている。この収益予想にESG 情報を直接反映させることが求められる。また、配当割引モデル(DDM)、キャッシュフロー割引モデル(DCF)といったバリュエーションモデルのリスクの計測にもESG 情報を利用することが考えられる。ESG 投資には、まだESG リサーチのレベルアップ等の課題はあるものの、長期投資の手法として広がり、そして一般化されていくと考えられる。とくにエンゲージメントは、企業価値を向上させる可能性を秘めており、日本の株式市場や実体経済に貢献すると考える。

<p>This paper studies the <i>Hosshinshū</i>, <i>Shasekishū</i> and <i>Tsurezuregusa</i> in relation to Tendai <i>hongaku</i> philosophy. The following results are obtained. Firstly, the <i>Hosshinshū</i> is not affected by Tendai <i>hongaku</i> philosophy. Its stance detests this impure world and encourages seeking rebirth in the Pure Land. The <i>Shasekishū</i> has the idea that everyone can reborn in the Pure Land. However, it does not contain the idea that this real world is a manifestation of Buddha. Finally, the <i>Tsurezuregusa</i> accepts the real world. It finds the truth in the real world and might be affected by Tendai <i>hongaku</i> philosophy.</p>

This paper discusses the time concept of Tendai hongaku 本覚 philosophy. The Sanjushika no kotogaki 三十四箇事書, one of the main Tendai hongaku texts, states that eternal and present are coming together and dissolving into oneness. It leads to the “eternal now.” In addition, we can see present, past and future at the same time in other spaces as well as this space, although the spaces have their own time. This time concept seems to belong to eternalism, which states that there are things that exist at other times. As a result it leads to the creation of art and literature. However, it is also related to the negative sides of Tendai hongaku philosophy such as discrimination, because the future is already decided.
