日本ではWeb2.0 への関心はすでに薄れていると聞くが,むしろ新技術により創られたWeb2.0の環境はこれからも発展し続け,利用人口も増加し続けるという考え方にたち,Web2.0によってもたらされる情報リテラシーの見直しと実践について焦点をあてたい。まず,Web2.0の特性と情報リテラシーの関係を述べる。次に,北米の図書館でのWeb2.0の考えや技術を使用した事例を挙げ,情報リテラシーの面からどのような点に注意すべきかを論じる。さらにcritical thinkingを紹介し,情報リテラシー教育の重要性を喚起する。

The development of technology has made significant impact upon libraries in the last quarter of a century. Interlibrary loan service is not an exception. With improvement of ILL systems, lending and borrowing activities between libraries have increased significantly in the United States. Technology also has brought new aspects such as document delivery and copyright on electronic materials, which make ILL services various and complex. This paper will talk about the current state of ILL systems in the United States, such as delivery systems, ordering systems, and copyright issues with ILL, by presenting the services at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
