妊娠・出産を控えた若い女性が持っている分娩体位の知識と分娩台に対するイメージとの関連を明らかにする目的で、看護学生2年生77名、看護学生3年生75名、助産学生165名を対象にアンケート調査を行った。その結果、1)各分娩体位の認知度は看護学生と助産学生の間に大きな差が見られる(p値=0.000)。2)看護学生と比較して知識点の高い助産学生ほど明るいイメージ・主体性に関わるイメージは低く、逆に暗いイメージは高くなっていた。3)"普通だ""当たり前である"(ともにp値=0.000)、"一般的だ"(p値=0.012)の項目で看護学生と助産学生の間に有意差が見られ、知識点が低いほど分娩台で産むことを当然であるという意識があると考えられることが明らかとなった。

In order to clarify the relation of the image about the delivery desk and the knowledge on the posture of the delivery, the investigation has been done using questionnaire to the young students, 77 students of 2^<nd> year ,and 75 students 3^<rd> year in nursing course, and 105 students in midwife course. It is cleared that 1) the degree of recognition on the postures of delivery is largely different between nurse course students and midwife course students (p=0.000), 2) midwife course students has negative image for the delivery desk compared with the nurse course students, 3) nurse course students have the image as "usual" (p=0.000) and "natural" (p=0.000) and also "general" (p=0.012) compared with the midwife course students.
