言語に関する諸現象のなかには自然現象と似ているものが数多く見出される。そのような現象の解明,解釈には単に歴史的いきさつを考察したり,他言語との比較つまり比較言語学的考察のみにたよるより,自然現象の解明に用いられる手法による方が分かりやすい場合がある。逆に自然現象の解明,理解に言語現象との類推を用いることができる。この論文(I)では前者について2,3の試みをしている。冠詞の生成に関する考察から近未来において日本語にも冠詞が現出する可能性が考えられることが述べられている。ついで,イタリア語の名詞の語尾に関して,組合わせの考えからa, e, i, oが使われることを示し,歴史的いきさつがあるにしろ,現在の形をとらざるを得ないことを示している。自然現象の理解に言語の現象がヒントになること等の考察は論文(II)に述べられる。There are many linguistic phenomena which have common properties with phenomena in Nature. Usually, one uses the methods of comparative linguistics to clarify these phenomena or studies them from the historical point of view. But, it is better to study them with the scientific methods in some cases. Conversely, we can use analogy between linguistics and natural science to investigate phenomena in Nature. We try to study the former case in this short article (I). From the historical investigations of appearance of articles we may say that there will also appear the words, 'articles' in Japanese language. Next, for the declension of noun in Italian language it is shown from the combinatorial analysis that four cardinal vowels, a, e, i, o, can be used as present forms. Apart from the historical details it is only mathematical fact. The case where methods to study linguistic phenomena help us to investigate phenomena in Nature will be treated in the paper II.
