論説(Article)本稿は、商品史の事例分析のひとつとして、近世以来の徳島の代表的な特産品である阿波藍を取り上げることを目的とする。第1章では、藍の起源、阿波藍の出現経緯、阿波藍の生産方法、近世に大量生産された諸要因、阿波藍をめぐる商業活動、消費方法について言及する。第2章では、徳島藩による阿波藍の保護奨励政策を概観する。第3章では、阿波藍が近世の徳島社会に及ぼしたさまざまな影響を10項目列挙し考察する。The purpose of this paper is to analyze the detail of the Awa-Indigo from a view-point of Commodity History (For example, studies on the process of the appearance and spread, the way of production and consumption, the factors of mass production, and social influence), which has been the one of special products since the modern times in Tokushima.
