This essay describes a personal experience of encountering to both monetarism and libertarianism.And also describes how the writer became a monetarist and a libertarian. While a monetarist claims that money does matter, he believes that free market economy is also important. The writer explaines about the Mont Pelerin Society which advocates libertarianism. Finally the writer analyzes some Japanese historical economic events as a monetarist.
