We conducted an empirical analysis of the donors’ decision-making process in crowdfunding. As a result, we found that the target amount, the number of Facebook shares, the existence of Twitter accounts, and the number of project photos are significant factors that determine the donation destination. This is useful information for people and organizations who want to raise money through crowdfunding.
