This paper has attempted a study of Bhasa's works of Indian Sanskrit Literature. Urbhanga, a short drama of one act, regarding an incident from the story of Mahabharata, contains some very interesting elements for us. This study attempts to comprehend the culture of the time, e. g. spiritual problems, through this drama. A Japanese translation of the drama and related articles has been prepared and discussed.
