A Chinese character is made in China and crossed to Japan through the Korean Peninsula. It is thought that a lot of Chinese word vocabularies were also borrowed with the Chinese character. However, in modernization, many Japanese-made Chinese words are made in Japan, and it crosses to K orea and China. This is the reason of share -izing of a Chinese word. In this paper, the common feature and difference are explored and unification of the Chinese character object by joint development of WORD software and establishment of a common vocabular y are proposed after this.

Members of U.S. Congress have been engaged in a debate over whether to pass a federal media shield law. If passed, the law will give reporters a privilege to avoid disclosing their sources and confidential information. Journalists insist that such a law is necessary for them to serve their critical role as a watch dog on the U.S. government without fear of retribution. The debate has heated up after a Time Magazine reporter accepted a grand jury request for disclosing his source: a high-ranking government official who leaked the name of a CIA undercover officer. The debate may not end anytime soon because opponents argue that the law will corrupt the media. Japan's most popular version of The Story of Little Black Sambo that had been out of print along with various versions is published again after 16 years. This paper is to study the problems that are found in the original and the recently published version and to examine the revised versions published in the late 1990s. Criticized racism is attributed mainly to the naming and the illustrations reflecting the racism in America. Three revised versions which try to rescue the classic of children literature have new names and setting, yet they have new problems. In spite of their attempts, the revised versions cannot be free from the problems of racism and colonialism inherent in the original. Edith Wharton is one of the most important American writers of the era of great social changes at the turn of the 20th century. She is famous for her realistic descriptions of the high society circles of "Old New York" from which she originally came. A number of critics have pointed out that her ideas on human nature were influenced by the context of her times, especially Darwin, Darwinism and the theory of evolution.
