A remote work support system has been developed aiming at utilizing an expert's experience and knowledge. By using the system, an expert supports the work of an unskilled worker from a remote place. The features of the system are measuring the viewpoint of the unskilled worker and showing the expert it, and showing the worker the support information from the expert using Augmented Reality (AR), so both sides collaborate smoothly. The experiment in which an unskilled worker performs operation of a boiling thermal-hydraulic test loop with remote support by an expert was conducted to evaluate the usefulness of the system by subjective evaluation. The result shows that there are following effects. The instruction information from the expert by AR technology is useful compared to the case where work is supported only with voice communication. A worker's viewpoint information is also useful so that an expert may know a worker's situation. There is a merit that the expert can concentrate on thinking of an essential sequence required for work compared to the case where the expert instructs only with a sound.
