During the APEC'95 OSAKA Meeting, held from November 16 to 19,a high-speed and wide-area ATM (156Mbps) backbone network was built for the Internet. Using this backbone network, we experimented with a News on Demand(NOD) service based on our local TV news programs. In this paper, we describe the WWW NOD production and the network schematics.

We have developed a new ghost reduction equipment for TV relay station using GCR signal with high performance. By using this ghost reduction equipment, multi-path interferences were improved more than 6dB (D/U).

本研究は将来のホログラフィ立体テレビをめざして, 現在入手できる液晶表示デバイスを用いてホログラフィテレビジョンシステムを構築し, その入力系, 伝送系, 出力系の特性について検討する.そのためにホログラフィ基礎実験システムを作成し, それを用いてリアルタイムホログタムを作成し, 更にテレビ信号の伝送系を用いて伝送し, コントローラを介して液晶パネルにホログラムとして表示したものに, 再生用のレーザを照射して実時間で像を再生した.in-lineホログラムとなっているために再生像は0次透過光に重なっており, そのために再生像のS/Nが非常に低下している.また再生像には高次の像が同時に現れているのがわかるが, 再生像の結像位置と回折光の結像位置がずれていることを利用して, 回折光の結像位置に空間的フィルタを設置して透過光および回折光を除去することができた.

A new synchronization algorithm for a serial interface of digital television signals is proposed to meet two user-requirements, i.e. quick recovery after switching and secure protection under a poor condition. In the new algorithm correct EAVs with protection bit are always captured without backward protection to establish a quick synchronization while synchronization is kept due to flywheel effect even EAVs are not found at the expected timing. The calculation results prove that the new algorithm show a performance to meet the user-rquirements.
