Two years ago, I reported the Tsunami damage caused by the East Japan Great Earthquake, and regarding to this I have proposed a city with a city wall to prevent such tsunami damage. Because of there are less lands for relocate towns to higher ground. In last summer, I've been visiting the old city of Dubrovnik in Croatia facing to the Adriatic Sea, as an example of such a city. This city is surrounded by the firm city wall to fortify the seaside and landward. Actually in various combats, it had protected the city from enemies very well. I was able to image this city wall will be also effective against tsunami. Yuan Professor of Tokyo City University, Teiichi Aoyama talked about a similar opinion.
