Theology of Simone Weil is part of the revival of theology of the cross in 20th century. Theology of the cross argues the main kerygma of christianity is God’s compassion with suffering beings. God suffers with our suffering like He suffered with Jesus’s suffering on the cross. However has God the infinite power so able to create the world? One suffers because of the bound of one’s power. Why does God suffer although His power is infinite? There is the logical contradiction. This article tries to resolve this contradiction by means to compare God to topological space. General topology was constructed by Bourbaki whom André Weil, Simone’s brother, leaded. Topological space can be bounded although infinite. If God may be compared to topological space, God is able to be infinite and bounded. If so, God is possible to have the infinite power and suffer because of the bound of His power. There will be no contradiction.
