本論文ではTV会議システムの映像を演出することを提案する. TV会議システムの使用で報告されている様々な問題を解決するためには システムの主たる要素である映像情報の用い方が問題であり 特にこれまでにあまり研究されていない 参加者の映像の表示方法が重要であると考えた. 映像の理論によれば 映像の適当な切り替えが必要であるため TV会議システムに適した映像表現方法を得るために テレビ討論番組の映像手法を分析した. そして そこから得た知識を利用した 多人数遠隔TV会議システムを作成した. さらに このシステムと従来の固定カメラの会議システムとの比較実験を行い 良好な結果を得た.Designing the video of a videoconferencing system is presented. The authors put an importance on the utilization of video, which is one of the essentials of a videoconferencing system, and assumed that how to present the pictures of participants was the key to solve the problems which have been reported and improve videoconferencing. The video technique on TV debate programs was studied to obtain an appropriate way of presenting video. Then the videoconferencing system that uses the video technique was developed. The system was evaluated highly in a comparative experiment with a conventional fixed video camera system.
