ITSを実現するためには,移動体である車両が周囲の車両や道路側設備と確実な通信を行うことが必要となる.従来は周囲の車両との通信は車々間通信,路側機器との通信は路車間通信と,それぞれ別個のものとして設計,開発が行われてきたが,車両が安全に走行するためには,両者はともに不可欠な通信手段である.本論文では,CDMAを用いて車々間通信と路車間通信を統合した通信システムを構築するためのプロトコルI--WarpIIを提案する.I--WarpIIでは,車々間通信にDPAと呼ばれる動的に符号系列を割り当てる方式を用い,それを拡張する形で路車間通信も可能とする.路車間,車々間通信が統合されることにより,それぞれの通信システムでの問題点の解決が容易となる.路車間通信では,シャドウイングの解決が最も重要な課題であるが,I--WarpIIでは,これを解決するために代行登録という手法を導入し,加えて車々間通信を活用することでシャドウイングによる通信断絶を最小限に抑えることを可能とする.車々間通信は通信相手がインフラではなく,別の車両であるため,ある程度車載機器が普及するまでは通信機器が意味をなさないという問題点がある.I--WarpIIでは,そのような場合でもインフラが整備されれば路車間通信として利用可能であり,初期の普及が大幅に容易になると思われる.To realize ITS, it is necessary that each vehicle has a function ofreliable communication with surrounding vehicles and roadsideequipments. The traditional ways of design and development ware realizedas a different technique, nevertheless both communications areindispensable to ensure the safety driving.In this paper, we propose a novel protocol I--WarpII to construct thecommunication system which integrates inter-vehicle communication (IVC)and vehicle-to-roadside communication (VRC).With I--WarpII, VRC is realized by extends of IVC method calledDPA (Dynamic PN-code Assignment). A solution of the problem with eachcommunication system becomes easy by integrating. By using I--WarpII,a shadowing problem that causes serious VRC error is solved by the methodnamed registration proxy. In addition, the use of IVC should be madepossible to restrain the effects of communication error of VRC caused bythe shadowing problem. In IVC, there is a problem that communicationequipment doesn't make sense until the equipment comes into wide use becausea partner of communication is not an infrastructure but another vehicles. If an infrastructure is prepared even in such a case,it can be used for VRC, and it considers that early diffusion of IVCequipment becomes drastically easier with I--WarpII.
