オブジェクト指向分析/設計の成果物の一つに概念モデルがある。概念モデルは対象となる問題領域を理解するために、その問題領域に存在する主要な概念とその関係を表現する。本稿が対象とする問題領域は中国の唐代行政地理に関するものである。唐代の地理に関係する文献を理解するために、府州郡縣等の行政区及び、その設置、廃止、分割、合併、改名、所属の変更などの現象を捉えるための概念モデルを提出する。行政区の静的な情報のためにはクラス図を、行政区のライフサイクルを理解するためには状態遷移図を用いる。また、『新唐書』地理志、『元和郡縣圖志』などの文献ごとの概念モデルの違いについても議論する。Tang adminitrative geography concerns itself with the hierarchy of areas relating to the national government in the Tang dynasty. This hierarchical structure and the boundaries of the layers in them are subject to histrical records and occasional changes. The paper presents a conceptual model of its administrative geography. We use class diagrams for modeling static information of administrative areas and state machine diagrams for modeling behavioral state of their area boundaries, and also discuss difference of conceptual models in historical sources of its geography.
