This paper presents the Arabic text and the Japanese translation of a form of genealogical document which is included in an Arabic manuscript from Maghreb preserved at the Library of Kyoto University of Foreign Studies. It is a sample of document which confirms the lineage of a descendant of emirs, and contains not only the testimony verifying its authenticity but also the explanation of its superiority.
