In Africa, there are many countries where the official languages are written in Latin scripts, because of their historical formation. But their own writing systems has been developed since 19-20th century, and some of them are proposed to the international standards. The famous example is N'Ko script standardized in 2006. In this report, the status of the standardization for the scripts that are not standardized yet (Vah, Kpelle, Loma, Garay, Bete etc) is summarized.In Africa, there are many countries where the official languages are written in Latin scripts, because of their historical formation.
