近年,観光学における新しい旅の形態として "ダークツーリズム" が注目を集めている.ダークツーリズムは,レジャーや娯楽といったこれまでの観光から一線を画し,旅の目的を地域の悲しみの承継や死者への追悼に求めるものであるが,こうした旅を享受するにあたって,ICT が大きな役割を果たすのではないかと期待されている.本報告では具体的な事例を交えて,ダークツーリズムと呼ばれる観光学の先端領域を ICT の観点から捉え直す.Recently, "Dark Tourism," a relatively new concept in tourism studies, is becoming increasingly popular. Unlike traditional tourism, dark tourism can hardly be considered a leisure activity or hobby. The main purpose of dark tourism is to succeed to local grief or mourning for the dead. ICT is expected to play a big role in enabling people to enjoy this kind of tourism. This study aims to reconsider dark tourism, an important area in tourism studies, in terms of ICT, taking actual cases into account.
