本稿は2011年12月にスウェーデン王国のストックホノレム市およびダンデリード市の学校と教育機関を訪問し、学校安全の現状を視察した際のインタビューの内容をまとめた報告書である。スウェーデンで、は、これまで学校における殺傷事件は起きていないが、隣国のフィンランドで2007年および2008年に在校生による銃の乱射事件が起きており、この事件以降、積極的な取り組みがなされるようになった。一方、放火やいじめ、暴力事件などは以前から起こっており、それらに対しては介入が行われていた。スウェーデ、ンにおける安全教育の根幹は、価値観の教育であり、人が皆平等で、あること、他者を思いやる気持ちを持つことなどを幼少期から丁寧に教育することによって、人間関係のトラブルや犯罪の抑止につながっているようであった。また、社会福祉制度の充実により、学校に様々な立場の人が関わり子どもたちを見守る仕組みが充実していることや、教職員が安全に関する専門教育を受講しやすいことなどが、学校の安全に寄与しているように思われた。This report was written based on the interview when we visited schools in Stockholm and Danderyd in December 2011, and inspected the current state of school safety. In Sweden, serious school crisis has not happened so far, but after the shooting incident occurred in Finland in 2007 and 2008, efforts were made to be activate. Meanwhile, arson, bullying, and violence have occurred before, and they had been for the intervention. Foundation of safety education in Sweden is the teaching of values, and this education seems to inhibit the occurrence of school crisis. In addition, the richness of the welfare system,a nd the environment that many people participate the school activity seems to contribute to school afety.
