本稿では,実写の動画像を非実写化することにより,動画像の好ましさを向上する効果があるかについて検証を行った.まず,イラストレータによる理想的な手描きの非実写映像によって実写映像と異なる表現方法 (画風)に変更することで,映像に対する総合的な好ましさを損なうことなく,個別の要素に対する印象の好ましさを向上させる効果があることを確認した.次に,動画像の動きの滑らかさに関して,非実写変換によって,低いフレームレートにおいても実写映像に比べて働きのギクシャクさを感じにくくなることを確認した.これらの結果を,それぞれの主観評価に用いた方法と合わせて報告する.In this paper, we report the effects of improving viewer's impression for videos by non-photorealistic rendering. Our subjective test, first, reveals that non-photorealistic videos improve viewer's impression on several sub-elements in the original photorealistic videos without detracting overall visual preference. We, then, confirm that non-photorealistic videos reduce perceived jerkiness even in the low frame rate compared to the original photorealistic videos. We also report the subjective test methods designed for the evaluations.
