The elderly population ratio exceeded 22.7% in Hokkaido. Furthermore, the super-elderly population ratio exceeded 25% in 137 cities, towns and villages. This research is inquired on the state of the high Quality of life for the elderly with dementia. Eight units of the elderly with dementia in the group homes From Otaru, Sapporo, Asahikawa, and Rumoi were Formed to be the subject of this research. This inquiry is focused on the flow planning of living room and kitchen from the construction side. There is a deep relationship between a living dining room and a kitchen for the Tenant's daily life. It also became clear that these spare have significant meanings for staff, visitors, and especially Family members. It became clear that the Form of a passage affects the Flow plan of entire group home including tenants' daily life. The physical burden of a resident and the staff increases, as the number of passages increase. More passages increase the dead space, which decrease the residential atmosphere.
