This paper investigates changes undergone by self-definition in Japanese-Brazilian (Nikkei) society. After World War II, the first generation of immigrants sought social integration of Japanese immigrants and an affirmation of their place in Brazil with the formation of the Cultural Association (Bunkyo). Later, identity consciousness in the Nikkei society changed due to an increase in temporary labor migration to Japan.   For Nikkei of Pilar do Sul, an exclusive identity is recently appearing that is distinct from “race-based identity.” Bunkyo has revised membership regulations limiting membership to people of Japanese descent due to non-Nikkei Brazilians’ involvement in the association. These revisions have caused emergent changes to Bunkyo’s organizational “order and regulation”, which were shared by the group’s members. Accordingly, members have begun to differentiate themselves and others according to Bunkyo’s “order and regulation”. Therefore, I examine the grounds for local Nikkei identity irreducible to the conventional frameworks of Nikkei studies.

自然気胸患者におけるPS(Performance Status of Spontaneous Pneumothorax:PSSP)を新たに提案した上で,続発性自然気胸の術後合併症予測因子に関して検討した.2015年1月1日から2021年5月31日の期間に,当院で手術を行った続発性自然気胸患者に対し統計解析を行った.164例のうち,術後合併症は37例,術後死亡は3例であった.PSSP(0/1/2/3/4)の合併症率は0/8.6/27.3/56.3/66.7%,死亡率は0/0/0/6.3/33.3%であった.術後合併症の独立した危険因子として,PSSP(3-4),BMI(<16),血清アルブミン値(<3.5)に有意差を認めた.PSSP:3以上,低BMI,低アルブミンの患者で,術後合併症率が有意に高いことが示唆された.
