Shock recovery experiments were carried out on two plagioclases (labradorites) that include exsolution lamellae (An<sub>55</sub>Ab<sub>42</sub>Or<sub>3</sub>) and that include no exsolution lamellae (An<sub>64</sub>Ab<sub>34</sub>Or<sub>2</sub>) up to 36.8 GPa. Recovered samples were analyzed by powder-X-ray diffraction measurements (p-XRD), infrared (IR) and Raman spectroscopy. Obtained results may indicate that exsolution lamellae does not affect on vitrification by shock compression.
