Shock recovery experiments were carried out on two plagioclases (labradorites) that include exsolution lamellae (An₅₅Ab₄₂Or₃) and that include no exsolution lamellae (An₆₄Ab₃₄Or₂) up to 36.8 GPa. Recovered samples were analyzed by powder-X-ray diffraction measurements (p-XRD), infrared (IR) and Raman spectroscopy. Obtained results may indicate that exsolution lamellae does not affect on vitrification by shock compression.
