The movement of the feeling of love in The Utsusemi story, which is previous part of The tale of Genji, the oldest long roman in the world, is visualized by means of wavelet multi-resolution analysis. By visualizing the movement of the feeling of love, it is verified the feature of this story: Genji, the hero, is largely influenced by Utsusemi's attitude, the first woman in his love story after his marriage and she makes him to feel keenly the perplexity of adolescence and the lost. In the case of Genji, even Utsusemi refuses to meet him, his willing to meet her and his longing to her are still high in the first and second part but his unwilling to meet her rises and the highest in the third part. While Utsusemi's willing to meet him is remarkable in the first part, unwilling to meet him because of her situation rises in the second part but her longing rises and the highest in the third part.

The colors on picture books by Dick Bruna have been analyzed by using computer.Fundamental colors including red, blue and green specified by Bruna himself are revealed to be not pure fundamental colors. These picture books have taken reposeful colors that mixed one fundamental color to another fundamental one. The thread of narrative is made a development along the changes of these reposeful colors that increases the charm of picture books by Bruna.

One of the distinguished properties of the discrete wavelets transform is that the major dominant factors can be extracted from the data. We have applied this property to the data compression and reducing the noise data. In the present paper, we have tried to shrink and enlarge the wind vector image data by the three dimensional discrete wavelets transform. Several examples demonstrate the usefulness of our new method to work out the graphical communication tools.

Visualization of interactive mutation inside reader's mind while reading a book has been studied by employing the discrete wavelet analysis. Readers are attracted to the book world as if they are. However, it is difficult for the readers to keep concentrating their own minds on the book world. Since reading a book is to switch the book and real worlds constructed by some layers of the story, then this sometimes confuses the readers. The layers are classified into two types. One is a real world in the story as character's life. The other one is a virtual world representing character's thoughts or recollections. To clarify the effects of these layers, movement among them is visualized by the wavelet multi-resolution analysis. In the present paper, Ekuni's novel, Rakka suru Yuhgata, is studied to extract the opportunities when the text lets the readers move from the book to real worlds.
