The educational system of a college of technology(Kosen) started in 1962.lt is important to train up students as excellent practical engineers in the Kosen. The importance of "monozukuri" is cried for briskly these days. On the other hand, young people's tendency to have less interest in science and engineering is pointed out as a serious problem to affect the training of engineers who inherit the technology supporting the base of Japan. Under such a situation, the time to enrich "monozukuri" education has come anew. A solar boat was manufactured this time. The purpose is to raise excellent engineers who has creativity.
