身近に開催されるコンサートの活性化を狙い,市の開催するコンサートの中で遠隔地からコンサートへの出演を実現する.大規模な専用の機材ではなく,普及しているビデオカメラやネットワーク,コンピュータを利用し,既存のストリーミング技術を用いて双方向に動画配信を行うことで,問題点となる遅延や臨場感を会場の運営や演出を工夫することで解決した.これによりコンサート会場という,今までそこにいる出演者と観客で構成された閉ざされた空間を開き,ユビキタス社会におけるコンサートの可能性を示す.We realized the bi-directional video streaming with ordinary video cameras, network devices and computers instead of high-end equipments for professionals. Many kinds of our idea such as a hall layout or concert management realized that against quality loss or network delay irremissible in video streaming. The bi-directional streaming extended the ordinary concert environment available only for players and audiences on site, and indicated a potentiality of a new concert style in the ubiqitous society.
