Officials send information over the tournament's official web page for the four major tennis tournament. The match results are just one of the items reported. Statistical number are displayed for fifteen fields all together, including First Serve %, Double Faults, Unforced Errors, and Serve Speed for each match. For singles matches are numerous factors determining whether a match is won or lost, among them the serve being extremely important. The purpose of this research is to analyze this statistical data displayed over the internet, primarily that regarding the serve, and aims to further clarify the factors that led to a win singles matches. The following points were clarified by the results of this analysis; 1. When serving fast, tall players were most effective at keeping their first serve in the court. 2. Players with a fast first serve also had a fast second serve. 3. The fast serve speed of players who moved on the next round stayed consistent throughout the tournament. 4. A high percentage of players who had a fast serve scored on their first serve. 5. The percentage of net points was higher for those who won the match that those that lost. 6. In women's matches to win the match it was more important to have less un forced errors than to have previously won matches.
