Although microarray has been an important tool that can perform extensive gene expression analyses, next generation sequencing (NGS) has recently arisen as an alternative methodology that can measure gene expression. In this paper, we have compared microarray and NGS quantitatively using microRNA measurements in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and found that these two are coincident with each other.
