牙に〈キサス〉の訓みがある（類聚名義抄）のだが、この「キザス（萌す・兆す）」は「牙」+「差す」〈先の尖った歯が生え始めること〉（大野晋『古典基礎語辞典』）とのこと。

@khoi_ndh @JPRidgeway along the lines of mina 'all', but no such correspondence is found e.g. in the 類聚名義抄 (cf. https://t.co/j6ZdCNKIk8; note btw the gloss タツ, suggesting that 達 /t~dati/ could possibly also be explained as a kungana, or ongana-cum-kungana if you prefer), which would be 4/7
