Educator sexual misconducts are problematic issues also in Japan. To clarify maleeducators’ sexual misconducts to male children and teenagers, text mining wasconducted on text data of news articles. Cases of male misconducts to children andteenagers were 110 of 1311 (8.39%). Further analysis found that their misconduct typewere mainly invasive sexual contacts to children. Discussing their causes, the authorsuggested future directions of education for educators and candidates.
