日本でNPOとされているのは, 民間の小規模な市民活動団体であり, かなり限定的な概念になっている。 このような日本におけるNPO概念が, どのようにして形成されたかを探ることがわれわれの研究の目的である。そのうち初期の段階でとりわけ重要な役割を果たした日本ネットワーカーズ会議について, 各種の資料およびキーパーソンとのインタビューによって調査した。 その発足の過程や活動の内容を詳細に記述する。 (英文) In Japan, a concept of nonprofit organization is restricted. That covers only small civil groups. A purpose of this study is searching why and how that narrow concept formed. Especially, I observe Nihon Networkers' Kaigi (JNC; Japan Networkers' Coference) that played important role in early stage. In this paper, I describe the process JNC started and their activities in detail. The data collected by analysis of documents and interviews.
