Psychosocial support is a significant issue in emergency settings for effective and efficient support activities not only to affected people but also to aid worker themselves.We presented the field research report on one month after Abruzzo Earthquake in 2009 as a case of psychosocial support activities in emergency settings.It was found that Italy has an unique system called 'Protezione Civile' and it was constituted by many types of organizations like Italian Red Cross police, water service and scientists etc.We pointed out that this system is conformed with psychosocial support system on IASC guideline. And Dr.Clown in Italian Red Cross was a special psychological aid worker suitable with cultural context in Italian Red Cross.Various national system have to be investigated.学術論文

The purpose of this study was to clarify the differences about a sense of incongruity between the persons with developmental disorders and the typically developing. The first we investigated about "disorder is personality" and "ordinary" by the questionnaire survey. The persons with developmental disorders showed trend that they had a sense of incongruity to "ordinary". Next, we conducted an individual survey using PAC analysis. The results of it were as follows: (a) Developmental disorders showed higher conflict level. (b) They talked about unpleasant and concrete memories about "ordinary".

Pressure rise due to freezing of water enclosed in a circular tube has been studied in this paper. A theoretical model is established by considering the heat transfer conditions on the outer surface of the tubes, elastic deformations of the tube walls, and change in the freezing temperature of water due to the increase in pressure. Numerical calculations were performed to integrate the theoretical equations. The calculated results showed a good agreement with the experimental results. The new dimensionless parameters have been introduced, by combining the results thus obtained for various different conditions, to correlate the pressure in tubes to heat transfer conditions on the surface and physical properties and the dimensions of tubes.

Framing helps us to organize complex phenomena into coherent and comprehensive stories. In the policy process, framing often accounts for social conflicts because they differ among actors who are concerned with the same issue. In general, their frames are closely related to their own interests. This article, firstly, describes the relationship between interests and actions of each actor, and discusses the impacts of framing on the policy process. Secondly, it explores, through a case study of Minamata disease, how each actor makes her/his frame of the issue, why the frame is different among actors, and why the frame has an impact on the action in the policy process.
