本論文では、電子書籍出版ビジネスを、電子書籍を媒体とする情報システムと捉え、電子書籍が持つ機能性と共に、それを巡る社会、利用者、普及活動などの利用環境の視点から総合的に分析する。分析の結果として、現在の電子書籍出版ビジネスを巡る問題点が、大型の書物では優位とされてきた可搬性と利用シーンでの使い勝手の悪さにあることを明らかにする。この結果に基づき、大型でない一般書物の電子書籍出版ビジネスの可能性について考察する。This paper describes the view points of the analysis of an electronic publication business as information systems, which are the functions, social impacts, users, enlightenment activities for electronic text. Because, we consider that an electronic text is an information media and is consist of an information system. The analysis shows us the problem of the present electronic books publication business as the result. In the field of the users, mobility and usability of the text are not so significant, which have been made the dominant characteristics in electronic texts based on a large size book. As the result, we consider about the possibility of electronic publication businesses on general books that are not large size.
