モーバイルコンピューティングの将来ビジョンの一つである「財布サイズコンピュータ」をめざして、高速テキスト入力可能なポケッタブル・デバイスを試作した。テキスト入力にパソコン上で実績のあるSHK片手操作キー方式(Single Hand Keys)を採用した。英語・日本語に対応している。試作したシステム概要、機能・使い方、入力速度、今後の課題等を述べる。We will discuss an application of SHK: Single Hand Keys input scheme to a pocketable computer. We will first explain the background of the research. Then we will discuss a pocketable device named Pocketable SHK which we have prototyped, its functions and usage, and input speed. High speed input of both English and Japanese text can be attained through the SHK input scheme on the pocketable computer. We will discuss the further themes for us to pursue.
