本報告では,インターネット上の活動から派生するオフ会に代表されるヒューマンネットワーキング(フォーラム)に参加するメンバーの利用評価の視点から,ネットワークの情報獲得効果について考察を試みるものである.冒頭,情報獲得や発信を目的とするインターネット上での様々な活動とフォーラムの実態をサーベイした上で,人々の信頼,規範,価値を共有することで強化されるとするソーシャルキャピタルにおけるネットワーク概念に着目しつつ先行研究を整理した上で,本報告において検証を行う仮説を立案する.フォーラム活動に参画したことのある者を対象に実施したアンケート結果から,当該仮説の検証を行いつつネットワーク利用者の評価の視座の把握を試みる.This paper analyzes the personal networks to gather information. Factor analysis and multiple regression analysis models are used on the data obtained from a questionnaire administered to 317 people to determine how they acquire information through participating in informal gatherings ("forums") and through internet based activities. The respondents'awareness of the benefits of networking is also paid attention to, as well as the factors leading to satisfaction or dissatisfaction with the outcomes of networking. The qualitative analysis of this data confirms the hypothesis that people recognize the different aspects of information-gathering forms or styles, and use them according to their needs, case by case, and in a complementary manner. Lastly, study points for future research are discussed.
