現在の自動車の情報システムは,サービスごとにセンタシステムや通信基盤を含んだ独立したシステムとして構築されており,新たなサービスを始めるためのコストが高い.そこで我々は,安価にサービスを実現するための基盤として,通信部分をサービスから分離したインターネット自動車システムを提案している.本稿では,インターネットを利用した自動車用通信システムを設計・実装した.このシステムは,高速移動する自動車に安定したInternet Protocol(IP)通信環境を提供するため,インタフェース切替え等の新技術を導入している.車載コンピュータのハードウェアおよびインターネット自動車システムを基盤としたアプリケーションソフトウェアを開発し,実走行環境での実験を行った.実験では,複数の無線通信媒体が切り替わる環境において,連続的に安定したIP通信機能が実現できることが分かった.この結果,今回構築したシステムが自動車の情報化に十分利用できることが検証された.In current information systems for automobiles, each service is an independent system including its own communication system.For this reason it is costly to start a new service.In this paper, to realize an afordable service, we propose a new information system called InternetCAR.In this system the communication system and the service has been seperated.This paper describes the design and implementation of a automobilar communication system which utilized the Internet.The system makes use of interface switching and other new technologies to provide stable IP connectivity for automobiles moving at high speeds.On-board hardware and application software based on the InternetCAR system have been implemented and evaluated in an actual situation environment on board a moving car.The experiments proved that it was possible to provide stable IP connectivity in an environment where different wireless communication mediums are constantly being switched.As a result,it can be said that this system has the ability to safely and reliably connect automobiles to the Internet.
