筆者らの研究グループでは,いつでもどこでも楽器を演奏して音楽を能動的に楽しみたいという要求を満たすため,手軽に持ち歩いて利用できるモバイル楽器の開発を行ってきた.これまで,あたかも演奏しているかのようなPC操作が行える小型鍵盤楽器モバイルクラヴィーアIや,音域変更操作をスムーズに行う仕組みを備えることで,音域が広い楽曲を演奏しやすくした楽器であるモバイルクラヴィーアIIを開発してきた.そこで本研究では、文字入力可能な小型鍵盤であるモバイルクラヴィーアIと,黒鍵追加型小型鍵盤であるモバイルクラヴィーアIIを統合し,より芸術的な文字入力を可能にしたモバイルクラヴィーアIVの構築を目的とする.さらに,モバイルクラヴィーアIVのアプリケーションである歌唱機能について述べ,小型鍵盤を用いた新たなエンタテイメントシステムの可能性について議論する.Our research group has proposed and developed mobile electronic musical instruments to enable users to play music anytime and anywhere. Mobile Clavier I enables a user to control his PC like playing a musical instrument, and Mobile Clavier II is an instrument for playing a music that has a wide diapason easily by the function for changing diapason smoothly. The goal of our study is to construct the Mobile Clavier IV, which is a new musical instrument enables a user to input character artistically by integrating Mobile Clavier I and Mobile Clavier II. Moreover, we discuss the possibility of a new entertainment system by exploiting Mobile Clavier IV to melodia.
