2004年度から開始された文部科学省の「IT人材育成プロジェクト」において、ITに関する知識・技能を有する高校生のアイデア・スキルを発揮させることで独創性を向上させる「ITスクール」の2005年度の実施例について報告する。昨年度同様、5泊6日の合宿形式で全30名の生徒に、SqueakとSmalltalkを用いてオブジェクト指向の概念を講義・実習し、自由研究で小規模なシステムを作成させた。結果としては、概ね好評、自由研究などでも完成度の高い作品を作成するなど、一定の効果を得ることができた。This paper reports "IT school" that educates advanced IT knowledge and skills to improve originality for high school students. In the school planed as a part of "It Training Project" of the Ministry of Education Culture, Sports, Science and Technology in Japan, the concept of object-oriented was to educate 30 high school students and let them practice using Squeak and Smalltalk in the 6days training camp. Small-scaled systems of freely research were implemented by students with the knowledge they acquired though lecture and practice. As a result, the students could develop abilities of handing advanced IT and be experts of IT in each high school after the school.
