本研究では,USB カメラや測域センサからの検出情報により視覚障がい者の歩行支援を目的としている. USB カメラや測域センサが取り付けられたキャリーケースを歩行の際に押してもらい,歩行可能領域や段差・障害物等の情報を視覚障がい者にスピーカーの音で報せるというシステムである.歩行可能領域かどうかの判別には,カメラからの入力画像に対してクラスタリングという画像認識を行い,段差や障害物等の認識には測域センサからの検出情報を用いて実現する.In this research, it has aimed at the visually handicapped person's walking support according to detection information from the USB camera and the range sensor. The carry case where the USB camera and the range sensor were installed when walking is pushed, and the system is report in the visually handicapped person because of the sound of the speaker as for information such as the area where he can walk, differences, and obstacles. It achieves it in the distinction whether it is an area where he can walk by doing the image recognition of clustering to the input image from the camera, and using detection information from the range sensor for the recognition such as differences and obstacles.
