It is well known that disaster areas have special social contracture after the disaster occurs. However, the existing literature has dealt with changes in the local community after a disaster. In other words, few researchers have studied tourists who happen to experience disasters. This study discusses from various standpoints, condolence for tourists who have experienced disasters, through interviews of the impacted people, bereaved, and members of the Phuket Japanese Association.
