4 0 0 0 OA 冷戦期における合衆国ナショナリズムとソフト・パワーとしての表象文化の研究
予定より遅れていた『冷戦とアメリカ 覇権国家の文化装置』(臨川書店)を2014年3月に刊行し、成果を世に問うことができた。問題意識を共有する執筆者を得て成果を活字にできたのみならず、この論集を読んでくれた方々と意見の交換、研究の相互乗り入れが以前よりも容易になったという大きな副産物を確保している。また、新たに基盤研究(C)「冷戦期合衆国表象文化(史)とナショナリズム/ソフト・パワーの関係性に関する研究」を採択していただくことが叶い、調査・研究を継続、発展する途が開かれた。

Bluebeard, as is usual with Kurt Vonnegut's later novels, seems to have been dismissed unreasonably. I'd like to focus on his literary design in writing the parody of a fairy tale. This paper examines the novel's device for postmodern fairy tales making sure that his version of postmodern fairy tales are different from other postmodern writers', which will involve us overlooking his literary development from earlier novels into later novels.
