The δ-cocrystal of syndiotactic polystyrene (sPS) can capsulate various small guest molecules in the cavity of the crystalline region. We examined the rotational motion of isolated polar guest molecule, benzonitrile (BN), caged in the crystalline cavities by dielectric spectroscopy and the results were compared with the previously reported data of sPS / methyl ethyl ketone (MEK) system. The relaxation of BN in the crystalline region was specified from the comparison with the dielectric data of atactic-PS / BN system in which only the amorphous phase exists. The rotational relaxation time of BN in the crystalline cavity was 6 orders of magnitude longer, and the activation energy of BN was twice larger than those of MEK. These results suggest that spatial restriction due to the small cavity size strongly retards the rotational dynamics of the larger guest molecule, BN. Two-site model could successfully describe the temperature dependence of the dielectric intensity for sPS / BN system, revealing that there exist two stable states of BN molecules with energy difference of 7.42 kJmol^{<font size="-1">-1</font>} in the crystalline cavity.

筆者は現在,日本産バッタ科(Acrididae)の細胞学的研究を続けているが,各地から得た短翅フキバッタ類(Podismini族)については,種々な核型があることがわかった。この類は短翅のために分散力が弱く,地理的に分化する傾向が強いのではないかとも考えられる。従来mikadoとされてきたものについても,原産地(北海道)のものと西日本のものを比較すると多くの形態的特徴において,かなり異っていて種の同定すら困難であった。そこで筆者はこれまで,日本各地で採集された材料に基づいてこの類の分類学的研究を行っているが,今回は西日本産Parapodisma属の下記2新種について記載し,faurieiを除く本属の既知種を含めて検索表を作成した。1.Parapodisma setouchiensis sp. n.セトウチフキバッタ(新称)。模式産地:広島県御調郡御調町大字市。本種は雄の亜生殖板の背面の前縁中央に明らかな突起をもつ点でP.dairisamaと似ているが,尾毛の先端が偏平でわずかに内に向って曲がっていること,雌雄ともに前翅が大きく,しかも背面で重っていること,さらに幅に対する長さの割合が大きいことなどによって明らかに区別できる。2.Parapodisma niihamensis n. sp.シコクフキバッタ(新称)。模式産地:愛媛県新居浜市大字河又。本種は雄の亜生殖板の背面の前縁中央に突起を持たない点でP.mikadoと似ているが,亜生殖板の先端突起が短いこと,尾毛が長くその先端の縁が非常に丸いこと,雌雄ともに前翅が非常に大きく,その上背面で重っていること,さらに幅に対する長さの割合が大きいことなどによって明らかに区別できる。なお前翅が背面で重っている点でP. setouchiensisと似ているが,雄の亜生殖板,尾毛および上陰茎の形態の相違によって区別できる。

The aim of this paper is to examine the dominant role of educational system in the modern society by clarifying the concept of "cultural capital" proposed by Pierre Bourdieu. For this purpose, we firstly made clear how the "cultural capital" is formed from ordinary "pratique" by analyszing four aspects of "habitus". We then described three states of specific cultural capitals, and we argued that each of these capitals is based on "value of rarity" and becomes more or less a cultural capital in the institutionalized state (or, alchimie proprement sociale). And finally, we made clear a mechanism by which the distribution of cultural capital is controlled through a state-regulated examination system.
