In this study, the pronunciation training that a speech therapist performs for a native speaker was adapted to non-native speakers. After being administered a pre-questionnaire survey, five Burmese speakers gave interviews and participated in group training. A post-questionnaire survey revealed the participants were satisfied with their training and found that their pronunciation had improved. Although the number of training sessions conducted were not sufficient to produce natural sounds and correct pronunciations during conversations, it has been shown that this training method can be implemented for non-native speakers.

OJAD(Online Japanese Accent Dictionary)は、申請者らが2009年から開発し、2012年から現行の形で運用する、任意のテキストのアクセント・イントネーションを視覚的・聴覚的に呈示する国内外で唯一の日本語音声学習ができるEラーニング・リソースである。本研究では、従来個人使用の多かったOJAD活用法から、一般的な教育カリキュラムで体系的に音声教育の導入を行うためのOJAD活用法の確立を目指した。OJADを活用した音声教材の開発、教育実践を行いながら、その教材作成方法、教育実践方法を公開・提案した。
