ネットワークサービスの障害を切り分けるのは,様々な要因があって難しい。そこでWWWブラウザでチェック用ページにアクセスするだけで簡単に障害切り分けや管理者への通知ができるようなネットワークサービス障害チェックツールを提案する。これはネットワークの知識がない一般のユーザでも簡単に使え、またJAVAアプレット/アプリケーションの共同で実現されているのでユーザやサーバの機種を選ばず、柔軟性に富んでいる。It's difficult to trace reasons of network service faults. We introduce a network service health check tool that can automatically trace the reasons of faults and send an indication to the network manager when you access the check page on WWW server. It's so easy that a network beginner can use it, and also it is platform free and flexible because of using JAVA applet/application.
