パーソナルコンピュータ(PC)上で動作するアプリケーションは,ライセンスをPCに固定することが多い.インストールしたPC以外で利用が不可能になってしまうため正規ユーザにも利用に制限ができ不便が生じる.本論文ではライセンスをPCに固定せずにアプリケーションの運用を行う方式を提案する.「ライセンスを保有する」という情報をICチップに格納し,アプリケーションを実行する際に,定期的にデバイス内の情報を参照し,確認ができた場合のみアプリケーションを続行する.プロトタイプ及び実環境上における実験により,アプリケーションのコピーは可能であるが利用は不可能であることを確認した.また本方式の運用時におけるオーバーヘッド時間も許容範囲内であることを確認した.A PC application software is often used under a license fixed to a specific PC. This causes inconvenience that even the regular user cannot run the application on another PC. We propose a method for using the application under a portable license. In this method, an IC chip memorizes license information. While an application is executing, it regularly confirms the information stored in the IC chip to continue the execution. We conducted experiments with a prototype system and on a real environment. The experiments show that this method does not allow any copy of the application to execute without the license information stored in the IC chip, and that the overhead imposed by this method is acceptable.
