情報処理学会グラフィクスと CAD 研究会・画像電子学会の共催で2006年9月23日から3日間かけて行われた、ビジュアル情報処理研究会学生研究合宿2006(VIP2006: Visual Information Processing Camp 2006)の開催報告をする。VIP2006 はポスタ発表、登壇発表、レクリエーション、懇親会が主な活動内容であり、「人脈作り」を重要視した企画・運営を学生主体で行った。Web 上の Wiki ・掲示板を用い、参加者全員が合宿前から知合う機会を設けることで、VIP2006 当日には臨機応変な運営を行うことができた。参加後のアンケートでは88%の学生が他大学の学生や教員と交流でき、81%の学生が合宿への参加に満足であったと回答した。This is a report on the Visual Information Processing Camp 2006 (VIP2006), held during Sept. 23 to 25, 2006, co-hosted by Special Interest Group for Graphics and CAD of Information Processing Society, Japan and The Institute of Image Electronics Engineers of Japan. The main sessions of VIP2006 were poster and oral presentations, recreation, and banquets. Our camp focused on the creating of personal relationships and was managed by students. Participants in the camp had the chance to know each other beforehand by using a wiki and a BBS. Therefore, we could archive flexible management during the camp. In the questionnaire after VIP2006, 88% of student participants answered that they could communicate with students and professors of the other universities, and 81% of them felt satisfaction.
